Original hand cut stencils of a variety of sea flora provide a backdrop for needlepunched fish figures. Other sea plants were rendered from hand dyed, ragged cut fabric with raw edges. The sea floor is made from hand dyed antique chenille and open weave fabric. Bubbles were cut from upholstery fabric and machine appliqued to the background. (40"x36")
