"Floral Lure" - Delphinium Field

"Floral Lure" by Linda Friedman





I belong to Artistic Expressions, a group made up of eight, outstanding quilt, fiber and surface design artists.  We have each completed a quilted art work that represents our individual interpretation of the delphinium flower.  These works will be in the Delphinium Field exhibit with 7 shows on the Mancuso circuit beginning in Denver, Colorado in May, 2013. Over the next few weeks, I hope to post mini tutorials on the various steps that led to the creation of "Floral Lure".

      Thank you so much, Linda. This has been such a fun work to create, although my fingers sure took a beating by turning and hand applying all those little petals. This work was different from much of my creations, but diversity and stretching is good for the heart and soul.

      Thank you, Mia. You must know by now how much I value your input and support. I'm with you! It will be great to see all the art together. I just know they will make for a super exhibit for the Mancuso shows.
